+++ Plumbing +++?

plumbing

My Toilet keeps on getting cloged up.. I have to plunger it at least 4 times a day. What can I do? Should I call a plumber or should I call my landlord to fix this or is there a way to fix it myself? It doesn’t overflow but it is backed up and after plungering the water goes down but it’s becoming a pain to unclog it everyday!

    99 % sure you have something stuck in your toilet. what happens is something falls in the toilet and gets stuck in the little bend your best bet is to shut off the water valve, flush the toilet and try to get rid of as much water as you can, disconect the supply line, undo the to nuts on the sides of the toilet. pick the toilet up an dump the rest of the water in the tub. look up through the bottom of the toilet and you will probobly see your answer. i rum a 236 apt complex and see this all the time. if you call your landlord he might want to charge you for his services if he finds something in the toilet that is not supposed to be there, ie. hair brush, nail polish, etc,
    good luck

    it needs to be augered. there is probably something stuck in it. things get stuck in trap in toilet and plunging does not always fix the problem, an auger is a snake made for the toilet and very simple to use. you can purchase one at most hardware stores .

    When ever something like this happens you should get the landlord involved if he is a good landlord he should be willing to take care of his property. Some landlords just complain and it will do you more good to just do it your self. It sounds like something is blocking up your toilet. And like the other guys said it needs to be snaked. Maybe you know a plumber or someone who has an auger and they could come over and fix the problem pretty quick.
    Good Luck
